Being Healthy, Being Sick, and Being Responsible

January 30, 2021 Season 1 Episode 3
Dialogue: Disparities
Being Healthy, Being Sick, and Being Responsible
Show Notes

This episode explores how political and environmental factors contribute to health inequities, causing health to be a co-responsibility shared by the individual and the society. Using breastfeeding, COVID-19, and the obesity epidemic as examples, we converse about how framing health as a matter of personal responsibility can obscure social injustices.
